"Twelve-Legged Chair"

Selected for exhibit in the 2005 chair show “Holy Sit” in Detroit, this chair reacts to body position when the chair is made to bear the sitter’s weight.  The chair is outfitted with spring loaded shock absorbers.  The combination of springs and mini castors allows many forms of motion when seated, including movement around the room.  The chair is solid steel and welded together with torch-cut strips.
